Exciting News! HCL DevOps Model RealTime 12.0.2 is now ready for you to download. This quarterly release packs a powerful blend of new features, bug fixes, and usability improvements to enhance your experience. HCL DevOps Model RealTime generates reliable, readable C++ code to prevent concurrency and performance issues. Its graphical state machines offer simplicity over low-level C++ implementations.

Support for MacOs on ARM

A new target configuration for a TargetRTS that is prebuilt for MacOs with ARM processor ("Apple Silicon") using the Clang 15 compiler is now available.

We have spent significant effort on testing Model RealTime on this platform; and while no substantial problems have been found, we still have more things to test. With this in mind, we consider the full support for MacOs on ARM to be an EXPERIMENTAL feature in this release.

Improved Navigation by URI

The Copy Element URI command is also available in the context menu of the Code View and Code Editor. It places a URI on the clipboard which the Navigate by URI command can use for navigating to a particular line of a code snippet of a model element. This feature can for example be useful when you want a colleague to look at a specific line of code in a model you are collaboratively developing.

gRPC Support

A model library for embedding a gRPC server in your realtime application is available on GitHub. In this repository, you'll also find a sample client and server application that shows how to use the library with a Model RealTime application.

Support for Capsule Destructors

A new command is available in the Add UML - Special Operations context menu for more easily creating a capsule destructor.
