HCL Workload Automation is a critical component of the modern digital enterprise to ensure business availability and resiliency. This solution empowers you to seamlessly orchestrate, initiate, run and manage digital business processes, from legacy to cloud.

Now, as part of our ongoing commitment to enhance our products and services, we’re excited to announce the new licensing solutions for HCL Workload Automation.

HCL Workload Automation is transitioning from its current licensing platform to the new and innovative My HCLSoftware (MHS) platform to provide a dedicated portal where you can choose the latest licenses, reduce the risk of unauthorized usage, and ensure the most updated security compliance. The current licensing management system will reach end of support on June 30, 2025.

Image Repository

The image repository for all versions and fix packs can be found at My HCLSoftware Portal. The old one will be discontinued.

Old versions of the product will not be ported to the My HCLSoftware (MHS) platform and will be no longer accessible after June 30, 2025.

Some details about the different versions:

  • Version 9.5: This version will not be ported to MHS.
  • Version 10.1: All versions from 10.1 Fix Pack 5 (FP5) will be ported to MHS.
  • Version 10.2: All versions from 10.2.3 will be ported to MHS.

Minimum Product Levels and End of Support

Important: Versions linked to the old license tool will stop working.

The following versions will reach end of support on June 30, 2025:

  • Version 9.5 GA up to Fix Pack 7 (FP7).

The following are the minimum product levels for the different versions:

  • Version 9.5: 9.5 FP7 is required.
  • Version 10.1: 10.1 FP4 is required; 10.1 FP5 is recommended.
  • Version 10.2: All versions work.

New License Management System

HCL Workload Automation will adopt the License Management System built into MHS.

Version 10.2.3 will be the first version to use the new system and will be available in 4Q/2024.

HCL Clara and HCL Hero

HCL Clara and HCL Hero have adopted the License Management System built into MHS beginning with the following versions:

  • HCL Clara: Version 2.0.0.2
  • HCL Hero: Version 1.0.0.8

The following version will reach end of support on June 30, 2025:

  • HCL Clara: Version 1.x

The following are the minimum product levels for the different versions:

  • HCL Clara: Version 2.0.0.2 is required.
  • HCL Hero: Version 1.0.0.8 is required.
