Up Your Game - Upgrade to HCL SafeLinx v1.4.1

HCL SafeLinx provides Domino customers with secure access to their web-based and client-based enterprise applications, including enabling remote users the flexibility to connect to the internal network from a wide range of devices. To support our customers, we are announcing a new SafeLinx release v1.4.1.

Announcing SafeLinx v1.4.1 General Availability

SafeLinx v1.4.1 is now released for customer download and includes new features highlighted by:

• Adding MariaDB support for Linux
• Improving support for MySQL DDL Scripts and (MySQL)-rootless install on Windows
• Delivering HCL Traveler client Authentication via SAML with HCL SafeLinx as a Proxy (Beta version only)
• Providing debug flags for LDAP(s) connectivity

We encourage our SafeLinx customers to upgrade to the newest release. Upgrading to the latest release is both quick and easy.

End of Market and End of Support Announcement

With multiple release options currently available to our customers, including the latest SafeLinx v1.4.1, we are also making an announcement for several of our older release versions.

On October 17, 2023, HCLSoftware announced the End of Market (EOM) and End of Support (EOS) for HCL SafeLinx versions 1.0.x, 1.1.x, and 1.2.x. To minimize potential disruption to our valued customers, HCLSoftware is providing extended notice of our intent as outlined below:

• End of Marketing (EOM)

  Effective April 30, 2024, HCLSoftware will remove these versions from the HCLSoftware License & Download Portal.

• End of Support (EOS)

  Effective October 31, 2024 HCLSoftware will cease providing support for these versions.

• Extended Support 

  HCLSoftware will not offer extended support for these specific product versions.

• Part Numbers 

  There is no change to the existing SafeLinx product part numbers.

Customers currently running SafeLinx versions 1.0.x, 1.1.x, and 1.2.x should make plans to upgrade to versions 1.3.x or 1.4.x by the dates listed above. Customers with current entitlements will continue to have access and support to the recent SafeLinx software versions.
