HCL AppScan Announces Plans for End of Support for Versions 10.0.0–10.6.0

HCL AppScan offers a robust suite of advanced security testing tools designed to empower developers, DevOps teams, and security experts. From dynamic and static analysis to interactive and software composition analysis, our products ensure that your applications and APIs are safeguarded at every stage of development.

As part of our ongoing commitment to enhance your value and security, HCL AppScan will be changing the distribution and license management platform for HCL AppScan Standard, HCL AppScan Enterprise, and HCL AppScan Source starting with version 10.7.0 (planned to release in October 2024).

End of Market / End of Support

The transition to a new distribution and license management platform will provide you with a dedicated platform where you can choose the latest licenses, reduce the risk of unauthorized usage, and ensure the most updated security compliance. Implementing this beneficial change requires HCL AppScan to establish an end-of-support date for earlier versions with the older licensing model.

Effective June 30, 2025, HCL AppScan will end support for versions 10.0.0–10.6.0* for the following products:

• HCL AppScan Standard
• HCL AppScan Enterprise
• HCL AppScan Source

We strongly encourage you to upgrade to HCL AppScan version 10.7.0 or higher by no later than June 29, 2025. With the release of HCL AppScan 10.7.0 planned for October 2024, you will have ample time to transition and take advantage of the latest features and capabilities.

Once the new version is available, you will have until June 29, 2025, to upgrade to that version or subsequent versions planned for release in the first half of 2025.
