HCL Domino License Simplification – Messaging CALs, PVUs and Collaboration Express

End of Marketing (EOM) and End of Support (EOS) for HCL Domino Enterprise CALs and PVUs, HCL Domino Messaging CALs and PVUs, and HCL Domino Collaboration Express to further evolve the HCL Domino Portfolio

Effective June 12, 2024, HCLSoftware announces further simplification of our HCL Domino portfolio licensing and capabilities. This completes the HCL Domino portfolio licensing simplification and HCLSoftware’s transition away from complex, older licensing models that are no longer relevant. This allows even more investment in our HCL Domino products which continue to evolve to meet the needs of our customers, with its collaborative app development platform as well as mobile and web-ready solutions. Specifically, the following parts are EOM, which means the parts can no longer be purchased. EOS is June 11, 2025, which means that HCLSoftware will no longer provide Support Benefits for these parts after this date.

Effective June 12, 2024,

1. End of Marketing (EOM) and End of Support (EOS) of HCL Domino Enterprise CALs and PVUs
2. EOM and EOS of HCL Domino Messaging CALs and PVUs
3. EOM and EOS of HCL Domino Collaboration Express

To remain on active HCL support, you will need to move to CCB/CCX/Messaging Express licensing at your next renewal cycle. To help you accomplish this, you should use the HCL Domino License Analysis Utility (DLAU) tool to assess your environment. This report forms a baseline of needed entitlements for your current environment and can then be shared with your HCLSoftware business partner or seller to obtain a quote. HCL recommends all customers convert to term licensing. If you require perpetual licensing, please get in touch with your HCLSoftware seller or business partner.

HCL Domino Complete Collaboration (CCB) is the only license entitling customers to all Domino’s features, updates, and supporting programs. To realize all the benefits our HCL Domino portfolio has to offer, HCL strongly recommends that customers move to CCB/CCX/Messaging Express licensing at a minimum cost increase and upgrade to HCL Domino version 14.0 as soon as possible.
