Description

The plug-in depends on the arapi.jar file that is installed with BMC Remedy Action Request System and the path to that file must be specified as a step property. Run the plugin on the same system that BMC Remedy Action Request System is installed.

The BMC Remedy Action Request System plugin includes steps to create, update, and check entries in a BMC Remedy Action Request System.

Compatibility

This plugin works with BMC Remedy Action Request System Version 7.1 and later.

This plugin requires HCL Launch version 7.0 or later.

This plugin supports agents on all operating systems supported by the HCL Launch agent, except for z/OS.

Usage

 

To use the BMC Remedy Action Request System plugin, include steps from the step palette into your process. The plugin depends on the arapi.jar file that is installed with BMC Remedy Action Request System. The path to the arapi.jar file must be specified as a step property. Install and run this plugin on the same computer where BMC Remedy Action Request System is installed.

Step palette

To access this plug-in in the palette, click ITSM Process > BMCRemedy.

Import Definitions

Import the definitions from a file to the server. Objects already defined will be replaced. Administrator privleges on the server are required for this command.
